In association with the International Spiritual Council for Transforming Humanity (ISCTH), the Akhil Bharatiya Adhyatmik Samiti organised its inaugural event – Vishwa Shanti Yatra (VSY) on 20th September 2026 – commemorating the International Day of Peace (21st September).
The Vishwa Shanti Yatra was envisioned as a peaceful, silent, non-political march bringing together participants from diverse backgrounds, walking as one, with a powerful message of peace.
What began as a singular event planned in Kolkata grew, through the participation of spiritual and religious organisations, civic bodies, educational institutions and community groups, into a nationwide movement reaching over 8,000 people across 34 cities and towns in 15 states and union territories.
